| Road Marking Positions
Vogel Traffic Services is looking for applicants for a full-time, year-round position, and for a full-time seasonal (April to November) position on Road Marking Crew. Will work on equipment in the shop during the off-season. You must be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record. We can help you get a class B CDL license, if needed.
The Road Marking Crews travel a five state area, staying out 4-5 days a week with a 2-3 day weekend, some exceptions. Includes paid meals, motel and transportation. You can anticipate approximately 55-70 hours per week.

Fabrication Plant Supervisor
EZ-Liner Industries, in Hull, has an immediate opening for a Fabrication Plant Supervisor. Responsible for providing leadership while supervising and directing daily operations of the plant, including the metal fabrication process, prep and coat, and product assembly.
Duties focus on:
- Directing the daily personnel production schedules and personnel oversight with lead persons.
- Cost tracking and auditing.
- Safety programs.
- Quality assurance.
- Ensuring plant and equipment is maintained thru PM program.
Leadership experience in cultivating a team environment while cooperating with engineering and management team members is necessary. Experience with/or understanding of metal fabricating (steel, aluminum, stainless steel) using plasma cutters, brakes, saws, mills, welders, lathes, etc. important. Knowledge about finishing operations including phosphatizing, painting and powder coating helpful. Computer skills regarding Microsoft Office important, plus experience in Quick Books accounting software helpful.

LAB TECHNICIANS
Vogel Paints is seeking a Laboratory Technician for the Architectural Coatings Team. This position will be given on-the-job training to achieve the following:
- Formulating Skills: Proficiency mixing and testing lab paint samples..
- Computer Skills: Maintain records of all test results and observations.
- Communication Skills: Communicate data with the team, both verbally and in written form.
You will offer direct support to an R&D chemist. Requirements include: being detail-oriented, working well both individually and in a team environment, being a self starter, and showing an inquisitive attitude. Previous lab experience is not required, but will be viewed as a plus.

CHEMIST OPPORTUNITY
Vogel Paints is currently looking for a Coatings Chemist to join its research and development team in the Architectural Coatings Department. This position will be responsible for the development of new products, their plant implementation, and technical support of the formulated products. Existing product line maintenance, product updating, and investigation of field technical service requests are additional responsibilities. This career position offers possibilities for collaboration in many and varied project areas, which range from topcoats to primers to wood stains and clears.
The design and implementation of experiments in the lab, documentation and organization of experimental results, and communication of data to team members involved in the project will be necessary job functions of the successful candidate. Will involve frequent contact with leading raw material suppliers requiring continuous learning about current and new technologies that are used in the manufacture of architectural coatings.
A bachelor’s degree in chemistry or polymers & coatings is required. Prior experience in the development of waterborne coatings and/or wood coatings or related formulation is a plus. Any demonstrated research experience will be strongly considered. Proven communication and organization skills are key applicant attributes for employment.
